The PCB is attached to the heater plate similar to that

below but now made milled as a one piece block.

The block is heated by a transistor, the thermistor for temperature control

and crystal are mounted in the block.

The whole unit is thermally insulated and contained in a tin plate box.

It is recommended to fine tune to the required frequency by external potentiometer

connected to the internal varicap diodes or connect to a PLL system.
